In this line, Nicki compares herself to David because they both defeat their enemies. But Goliath is slain by a sling wield by David. In the Bible, Goliath is a Philistine giant and was a formidable foe. Minaj cites Goliath, who derives from the Bible. Nicki uses the figurative language of allusion when she references Goliath.
